I believe that since retrograde
occurs through a factor of
viewpoint that taking a broader
viewpoint than both geocentric
and heliocentric will discover
retrograde patterns within
heliocentric positions.
The constantly traveling over
the same place perhaps leads to
the karma theories (much like
the movie “Groundhog Day”)
although karma is another
subject and I feel it must be
separated from retrograde
thinking.
Ebbs and flows as with tidal
patterns. Walking against the
tide is much the same as the
action applied from retrograde
to direction.
The character and many life
experiences depend on the

Course is linked by some
astrologers to Retrograde
that this is the place to
comment.
Void Of Course is the space
of time when the Transiting
Moon has left the Last Major
Aspect within a Zodiacal
Sign behind and has not as
yet encountered the

Major Aspect of the
next Zodiacal Sign. By
definition this implies that
the Path
Of The Moon is guided
or held together by aspects.
Some liken this Void Of
Course period in a similar
way to
Retrograde Periods,
most notably a Mercury
Retrograde.
From a theoretical point of
view I would link Void Of
Course with the
Direct Motion. If
we say that at
Direction a
restriction is released then
there is a similarity with

aspects.

aspects are beneficial and
their energy is pushing or
guiding the Moon while a non
beneficial aspect may be

When challenged to find an answer as to why people born very close to each other in time, say by a few minutes, are different, we can say that in terms of astrology there must be a reason.
That reason will be found in the areas of change, the cusps. As to twins, split the cusps. One twin will take one side. The other twin will take the other side.
The cusps are the boarders between one event in time and another.
Within the zodiac, cusps are the transition area between one astrological sign and other astrological sign. Wherever this zodiacal transition area is encountered then one twin will follow or be drawn towards one side of the transition point and the other twin will follow or be drawn towards the other astrological sign.
This will apply to planets at a house or sign cusp. Should any planet lie close to a sign change area then the possibility of the planetary energy changing signs is happening.
Example: The Sun at 29 Gemini. One twin will be the Gemini and the other the Cancer.
Example: The ascendant at 29 Gemini. One twin will have a Gemini Rising while the other will have Cancer rising.
Example: Mercury at 12 degrees Gemini while the third house cusp is 14 Gemini. One twin will have mercury in the third house and the other will have mercury in the fourth house.
The trick here is to establish an accurate orb for the cusp. As a starting point make 3 degrees the maximum. The other part to formulate is the methodology of who is assigned what side of the cusp. The twin closest to the cusp crosses over to the next sign. That will not always be the oldest. One may cross back to the preceding sign.
Using this cusp splitting procedure will produce two distinct charts.
In the case of no cuspal positions within the chart we have identical twins perhaps all the way to Siamese twins.
Example: An ascendant at 16 degrees of Cancer with no planets close to the first or second house cusp should produce identical twins (theory). This probability of identicalness should increase if both the first and second house cusps are the same sign (through an intercepted sign elsewhere) and not near a cusp.

Everything happens. Does this mean that Science through this Principal acknowledges that Astrology works, to some degree? And if so what degree? I believe that part of the Principal of Uncertainty says that just because there is no working model it does not mean that the theory is wrong. So perhaps science through this Principal demands an open mind and a scientific effort to understand.

I have watched several stelliums form and dissipate and listened to the rhetoric of gigantic events. Then seen these stelliums come and go softly. It seems that the more planets in a sign the more comfortable they are and thus a more passive moment or person. For sure there is a strong energy force but it is a comfortable energy easily stated. Yes angular interaction from outside sources can cause individual disruptions but generally a tranquility.

Other astrologers may look upon a stellium from a different perspective and look for certain types of occurrences that I am not seeing. A stellium by definition is a group of planets (three or more) coming together in one zodiacal sign. The grouping may take many months to form and many months to uniform. The outer planets may enter the sign first and the moon or the faster inner planets may enter last and exit first. The 2000 stellium in Taurus at its peak was about 14 hours long and showed the Moon May 2, 2000 entering at 00Taurus00 with Mars May 3, 2000 leaving at 00Gemini00. Saturn had on June 10, 1998 entered Taurus starting the build up to the 2000 stellium and was the last of the stellium group to leave Taurus on August 11, 2000. Start to finish a 26 month window with lots of room for perspective. In its pure sense a grouping of non malefic planets should be at least positive to neutral. If a planet in the stellium is receiving negative angular interaction then the potential for the stellium to be difficult is there. From my perspective if any of the planets in the stellium are retrograde then there is a difficulty as they create conjunctions within the stellium or angular interaction outward. The 2000 stellium had all planets in direct motion at its peak.

Here are some thoughts on charts for cities and countries. Perhaps a bit convoluted for some but lets get some thoughts out. In the beginning with no people there is the astrology of the land. The land in each place has a character and that character interacts with the transits of the day. The land also has a progressed place and that also interacts. Now come people and each person has an interaction with land but as each person selects a time to be born they are interacting with the land that is the combination of what the land was and all its progressed moments to the point that what the person calls land is the new collective and to them the Land. The person interacts with other people the transiting planets and the land by its place and what that place offers up as interaction.
A group of people come along and declare a new way of thinking along with a new form of governance. For that moment of newness a chart is drawn. Is this the chart of the land, no. Is it the chart of the newness, yes. As the newness grows it marries other groups. Is the original chart for the newness valid, yes as it should imply and assimilate the growth. Is a chart for the marriage valid? Yes as it outlines the path of the marriage.
In the USA there is no talk of breaking the Union so the chart for the Constitution holds strong. In Canada we are not so lucky or perhaps it is just different we have Quebec that always threatens to break away. But Quebec was governance before Canada confederation and its chart has not allowed assimilation without independence.
Poland in 1937 was running on a chart of its history but when the Germans entered by 1940 are we dealing with a badly afflicted Polish history chart or a German newness running on a flush Jupiter about to go retrograde in 1945.
A place is affected by the transits. When a person stands in that place they share the effect. These combined effects are part of a progression from previous occurrences at that place. Similarly if a group of places are linked by a moment that brought them together i.e. a Constitution then they will continue to be linked by that Constitution moment.
It can be said that the Constitution only envisioned 13 colonies. But a birth chart only envisions one person and that one person’s chart can grow into a great grand parent with a vastness of people behind and ahead.
It would seam to me that a chart must die or all the positions of the chart are recreated by a future of others with other ideas and plans. The original chart holds strong or it doesn’t. I would say the USA Constitution chart has held strong.
