the Vertex in the 7th house
exactly conjunct Jupiter at
22 degrees?
Answer:
I will outline how the
energies of the Planet
Jupiter, the Zodiacal Area
called the Seventh House and
the Vertex, an intersection
in space all interact
together. The Vertex is an
Arc within a Zodiacal Sphere
that cuts the Zodiac and
creates an interaction
place.
The Vertex is like a round
buzz saw blade cutting into
the Zodiac. As each saw
blade tooth cuts the wood,
each tooth is as a degree in
the Zodiac. The Vertex
follows a circular path
within a Zodiacal Sphere.
The Vertex cuts through the
Zodiacal Horizon on the Noon
to Midnight side of the
astrological chart. The
Seventh House will have the
Vertex heading towards
either the Midheaven or the
Nadir.
With Jupiter, the Seventh
House and the Vertex,
Jupiter is the only degree
that will be known for
almost certainty. The House
Placing and the Vertex are
time sensitive. For any
linking of a Vertex to a
slow Planetary Placing
requires time accurate to
the minute. With a close
time you can locate Jupiter
in the Seventh House and
possibly can place the
Vertex in the Seventh House
but only with an exact time
can you place the Vertex in
Exactitude or exact
conjunction to Jupiter.
However assuming that all is
correct and we have a
Jupiter Vertex Exactitude in
the Seventh House.
The fast moving Vertex
intersection is crossing the
path of Jupiter a large
slower moving planet that is
moving through the Seventh
and most Social House of the
Zodiac. I see the Vertex as
a disruptive force so that
has Jupiter running through
turbulent air space thus
causing intensity in the
Social and Cardinal Thought
areas and specific to
Partnership Agreement.
Jupiter is hope and
excitement so a wild plane
ride will be exhilaration
and the creation of a life
building moment.
So am I saying that a
Jupiter Vertex Exactitude in
the Seventh House is a good
thing? The answer is “yes”
but there are still some
other factors that need to
come into play. Apparent
Motion must be factored in.
Is Jupiter in Direct Motion
or Retrograde Motion? If
Jupiter is in Direct Motion
then the “yes” still holds.
The Vertex by its nature
travels forward and
backwards through the
Zodiac. By applying apparent
motion you have a Direct
Vertex that moves with the
Zodiac on a natural
progression through the
Zodiacal Signs and if you
have a Retrograde Vertex it
is moving against the
natural progression. So if
it is a Direct Vertex the
answer is still “yes”
If either Jupiter or the
Vertex is Retrograde this is
where energy problems will
occur.

On December 26, 2004, 7:58:53 AM JT – 7:30 approximately 100 miles off Banda Aceh 03N19 095E51 there was a 9.+ magnitude earthquake that triggered a tsunami that sent out a wave of water that was still being felt 10 hours later.
As earthquakes on a lighter scale are happening daily there will be many indicators along a fault line that an area is active. There may be indicators that go back a long way and some that require a major event to be seen clearly.
Based on the information at hand several astrological energies were at play.
At 7:58 AM one of the most prominent astrological energies was Saturn the only retrograde planet in the sky. Saturn 25Cancer23 Rx in exactitude to Chiron at 25Capricorn01. Capricorn is at the Ascendant and Chiron is rising in the First House. Chiron at the earthquake site reaches the Ascendant at 8:40 AM while still making the exactitude to Saturn. Approximately 8:25 AM is when the Tsunami was reported to have reached land.
We are almost at a Full Moon so where does it factor in? Later in the evening at 8:50 PM as the Tsunami has run its course the Moon has reached Full at 05Cancer07 while the Sun is 05Capricorn07. The Full Moon and the Saturn Chiron Opposition exactitude are both in the Cancer Capricorn axis.
At 4:23 AM about 3.5 hours before the recorded earthquake time the Moon was in exactitude to both Saturn and Chiron. Moon 25Gemini05. Pluto 22Sagittarius29 at that time was exactitude the Vertex at 22Pisces43.
Since the Moon is factored in it is appropriate to look to the Moon’s Nodes the only other retrograde pattern in the sky that day. North Node 00Taurus03 Rx, South Node 00Scorpio03 Rx exactitude Mars 00Sagittarius14. The Full Moon chart has the ASC at 00Leo15. When Chiron reaches the Ascendant the MC is 00Scorpio20.
The Full Moon also joins Venus 12Sagittarius17 in exactitude to Mercury at 13Sagittarius08.
Asteroid groupings that seem to be a necessary factor in deaths Asteroid Pallas 07 Libra19 and Asteroid Hygea 07Libra16. Asteroid Vesta at 24Pisces28 is exactitude to Chiron and Saturn.

I have always liked the concept of a bubble of air that floats to a surface, bursts and becomes a new life system in what was unknown previously. If we as a universe are a bubble of air floating to the surface then perhaps all the nothing that we see in space is water and indeed there is a surface in our future that we shall find and join.
What the bubble bursts into is also part of the same whole but not yet created thus it does not exist but will become a future. Who is steering the boat? Where does our universe reside or does it reside within itself as in a bubble. Is our universe manipulating space or is space manipulating the universe and yes I know the term universe does not allow for space to be outside of the universe.
I also believe that the bubble must burst to see the accumulated universe. If the term universe is to be all encompassing so that any thought of an outside is not allowed ok but it seems limiting in that it does not allow for the possibility of the other argument that there is more.
To me the term universe used astrologically is Aquarius that bursts through compressed combusted air into a space as vast as our space in Pisces and reaches the event horizon as Aries and the surface is broken and our universe is a baby taking first steps in a vast new world.
There is also the chance that the bubble will burst before reaching the surface and the new universe is water. The bubble may have leaks that create vast winds that blow through space within the bubble. There is also the bubble that can reach a surface and break through and float in a new environment. I don’t think that we should limit how we look at what is unfolding around us.

Not quite I said “they are 90 degrees apart and from an aspects point of view this is a square and should be negative or difficult.”
From my perspective it is just an exactitude waiting to be fueled by passing planets that are giving or taking energy via Apparent Motion.
Here are two more quotes:

Well here I could have been clearer and said I am separating angular interaction via exactitude from aspects.

Experience is that answer. They say it takes 15 years to be an astrologer. After 5 years I was running an astrology business doing 5 charts a day with several other astrologers working with me. I meet a lot of astrologers and we all learnt a lot. After 12 years I was into mostly theory and writing and thinking. And now after 38 years I keep working my theories to unify and unfold astrology. Only at the very beginning did I use aspects giving weight to trines and squares but almost nothing to sextiles and semi-sextiles. The only two aspects I use are the conjunction and the opposition and place most weight on the conjunction but I would only use a conjunction and opposition if it was in exactitude and as an exactitude. I have always had a soft spot for the quincunx as a deflected opposition. Symbolism is what is sinking in through knowledge and insight. The more experienced the astrologer the more accuracy and exactness are very important. Thus a shrinking of orbs from 7 degrees to 5 to 3 to an exactitude.
You said, “I have noticed that you give a lot of importance to apparent motion.” Here is a quote: “The direct station is a time of unrestricted potential. It is as if a light has come on. Apparent motion is the pulse of the light of illumination. Direct motion is the flow of the light of illumination. Retrograde motion is the generator of illumination. What would be the result if two retrograde planets where at an exactitude, either in a trine or square aspect in the natal chart?
Two retrograde planets interacting via exactitude are a problem. While the retrograde planet is generating the illumination there is no forward motion however it appears that if you set your sites on the direction and work through rather than give up you can achieve goals.

If all the physical moving bodies in the universe as we know it only comprise 10% of all that exists then do we not have a similar effect where the human population of Earth (10%) is affecting a planet (90%)? I have long thought that if life on Earth was to be influenced from planets within our Solar System that the influence may come more as a disturbance of the dark space/energy between Earth and the planets. Each planet will make up its own kind of disturbance due its orbiting characteristics, the characteristics of its moons that influence the planet, and the pure physical (scientifically captured) emissions the planet is discharging from gases to magnetic fields.

Sometimes for this blog I go back in my files for interesting subject matter. The following question is based in 2004.
“Hi I am new to astrology and am particularly interested in Arabian astrology. My question is regarding the sun sign. I thought the sun should be in the constellation Aquarius according to astrology it now is Pisces; astronomy.com shows the sun clearly in Aquarius. Would you explain this to me?”
I have just calculated two astrology charts for today February 29, 2004. One chart uses a Tropical Zodiac and the other chart uses a Sidereal Zodiac. The Tropical Zodiac has the Sun 10Pisces33 and the Sidereal Zodiac has the Sun 15Aquarius45. Astronomy is based for the most part on actual (Sidereal) positions in the sky so at this time the Sun is physically crossing the backdrop pattern of stars called the constellation of Aquarius.
The Tropical Zodiac follows a wondering pole star and the amount of separation from the Sidereal Zodiac at this day is 24 degrees and 48 minutes of arc. Since each Zodiacal Sign is 30 degrees wide there will always be 3/4 of a sign difference between Sidereal and Tropical Zodiacs. Both Zodiacs can be in the same Zodiacal sign at the same time. Eastern Astrologers use the Sidereal Zodiac but most western Astrologers use the Tropical Zodiac.
A Tropical Chart can be calculated that shows the Aquarius constellation stars in Aquarius while the Sun is in Pisces. How the astrological chart is calculated is all about viewpoint and Sidereal and Tropical offer two different viewpoints of our interacting solar system against a massive backdrop of stars.
You mention Arabian astrology. I think you are referring to Arabian Parts the desert system of tracking the suns path across the sky and its angular interaction with other planets and three main physical points the ascendant, the mid-heaven and the descendant. This desert system goes on to give both a day and night sky pattern although most astrologers only calculate day and night for The Part of Fortune. There are approximately 50 Arabian Parts that should have day and night calculations.

Eric, yes the sidereal zodiac can make more sense from a “where it is now” point of view. In fact there is a trend amongst many western (tropical) astrologers to incorporate Vedic (sidereal based) astrology into their thinking. But there is a lot more to astrology than zodiacs.
The tropical zodiac started (presumably) when the spring equinox at March 21 had 0 degrees of Zodiacal Aries and the constellation Aries were both located at the same point. With time the two Zodiacs have separated. Both give a perspective and each perspective comes with a different set of rules and meanings. In the East fate and karma play large parts in the astrology while in the West personality and compatibility are in the foreground. Yet if you were to view a Hebrew Zodiac you would see that it is reversed in the way it turns much like Hebrew writing that goes from right to left.
Reading about Arabic/Islamic astrology will also give a very interesting perspective and a set of rules. An important point here is a caution in mixing systems until you truly understand one. Each system is strong when it unfolds on the truths of that system. Just as western astrologers use one Arabic Part, the Part of Fortune, the system is based on the interaction of all of the Arabic Parts with each other not just a convenient mix of both.
When I envision astrology after 35 years of study my concepts are vast in the sense they incorporate all moving bodies within our universe and the space in-between and incorporate all astrological systems.
Many people believe in astrology for no other reason than hope. Much can be said as astrology that is not true yet it is believed. To become an astrologer is a long journey that may take a full lifetime.
What is important, no matter what system or type of astrology you use, is to find one that talks to you. It will not mean that one is right and another is wrong as all systems are part of the same whole. Astrology in some ways is no different than music that on one hand can be rock and roll and on another be classical. Both are music and both stir a passion and create understandings yet each contains different sounds and structures. Just as you said the sidereal makes more sense perhaps a rock music lover would say rock is the only form of music that makes sense and classical music is out of date and has no relevance.
There is a magic to astrology like there is a magic to life and how you discover that magic is a personal choice.

The Splitting of Scorpio
The Zodiacal Sign Scorpio is said by usually non astrologers to be split by the constellation Ophiuchus thus creating a thirteenth Zodiacal Sign. The Scorpio/Ophiuchus caption under the chart says:
“The constellation Scorpio dips south of the ecliptic plane with only the Scorpion's head lying upon the ecliptic--encompassing only about 6° of the ecliptic. Ophiuchus, the serpent holder, stands upon the Scorpion and crosses the ecliptic--thus creating the thirteenth ecliptical constellation.”
An Ecliptical Constellation and a Zodiacal Sign are very different. In the astronomy classic Companion To The Cosmos by John Gribbin the definition for constellation reads. “Originally, constellations were rather arbitrary groupings of stars, with vaguely defined boundaries, whose patterns on the sky might be imagined to mark the outlines of mythological heroes or strange creatures”
There is no doubt that two constellations in the Zodiacal Sign of Scorpio are changing positions relative to the ecliptic. “The constellation Scorpio dips south” thus moving away from the ecliptic with the constellation Ophiuchus moving to occupy the Zodiacal Space that the constellation Scorpio has occupied. Lets remove the man made term constellations. To me I have never been able to see any constellational patterns that match the astronomy pictures. The stars are traveling in circles; they all are orbiting something even if it is open space.
Collectively the constellations Scorpio and Ophiuchus occupy 25 degrees of Zodiacal Space. The constellation Libra occupies 23 degrees of Zodiacal Space while the constellation Aries occupies 24.5 degrees of Zodiacal Space. The Zodiacal Space is the space within a Zodiacal Sign where any star pattern can be created and is created through the movement of the cosmos. An astrology sign is a creation just like life on earth was once created.

It has been stated strongly by astronomers that the Sun and Moon are the only influence to life on Earth from within our Solar System. The main reasons stated for only the Sun and Moon influencing Earth was due to the distance and the lack of physical effect that a planet such as Jupiter would have on Earth. Does quantum entanglement open the door for the removal of the distance argument and also the effect argument?

In the Research Section at http://www.waterfallastrology.com/research.html there is a series on schools shootings that contains 21 Charts on 11 school shootings. A conclusion that was reached was that 1 degree and 19 minutes of arc was a common denominator in the shootings, shooter and victims. When the Virginia tech shootings occurred April 16, 2007 7:15 am ADT+3:00 Blacksburg, Virginia, 37N13 80W25 I looked for the 1 degree 19 minute connection and the retrograde factor. 1 degree 19 minutes only occurred as an 11/5 house cusp, 02Aquarius/Leo12 and I was looking for something stronger that involved planets and angular interaction.
The Natal chart of the shooter January 18, 1984 (12:01 PM used as not time known) JST -9:00 Seoul, Korea, South, 37N33 126E58 starts to open up the picture. Pluto 02Scorpio03 is the shooting link but not retrograde. Sun 27Capricorn12, Chiron 27Taurus57 Retrograde to me is the problem that has culminated in the shooting. The other Natal retrograde link is North Node 15Gemini17 Retrograde South Node 15Sagittarius17 Retrograde and Saturn 15Scorpio12.
In the shooting time chart we see Pluto 28sagittarius54 Retrograde making the exactitude (1 degree orb angular interaction) link back to the Natal Chiron. Also Chiron 15Aquarius01, North Node 15Pisces35 Retrograde and South Node 15Virgo35 Retrograde.
Looking deeper into the shooters Natal Chart progressed to the shooting time and local we see that Pluto is now 02Scorpio07 Retrograde, with Neptune 00Capricorn41 and Mercury 01aquarius54 both exactitude to 1 degree 19 minutes. The Natal Sun/Chiron link is still strong as Chiron is now direct at 27Taurus47. The 15 degree exactitude link is there also Mars 14Scorpio24 and Saturn 16Scorpio13.
