Here is part of an answer to
a question about Tropical and
Sidereal Zodiacs...
“The view that I take on this
is based in Esoteric Astrology
as expounded by Alice Bailey
and that is that our planets
are a filter of larger and stronger
vibrations coming from further
out in the cosmos.
If we start with just the word
Zodiac we find a compass of
time....a divided wheel that
can be placed against any cosmic
backdrop...one of these backdrops
is the Tropical alignment of
the Zodiac and another is the
Sidereal alignment of the Zodiac
The rays coming to us via the
cosmos pass through each of
these Zodiacs and many others
that are in use and that are
not in use, either forgotten
or not found
Perhaps the first Zodiacal
Filter is Sidereal and then
through Tropical thus leaving
Tropical a logical choice while
at the same time encompassing
Sidereal.
Astrophysics has come to the
conclusion through observation
that each moving body contains
a Zodiacal Belt. In our Solar
System we call our Zodiacal
Belt the Ecliptic....each Zodiacal
Belt contains the Zodiacal Cloud
that is made up of Zodiacal
Dust. In the case of the Ecliptic
our Zodiacal Cloud has dissipated
and our Zodiacal Dust has formed
Planets and other Moving Bodies
that move and disburse, deflect,
and disrupt the energies of
our solar System and systems
further out
If you look at planetary astronomy
pictures one thing stands out
....many if not all of our Planets
have Moons floating or traveling
in their Zodiacal Belt. This
is a new understanding of what
has been there for many years.
We here on Earth just were not
aware.
Yes I have not forgotten that
this question is about Tropical
and Sidereal..so i leave you
with this thought...each time
I look at the sky to view the
constellations of the Zodiac
to see the Animals on parade
I find it all a very large stretch
of the imagination to see the
pictures that each constellation
is supposed to display....perhaps
there was and still is a time
when a Zodiac was unmistakably
clear and such images as the
Orion Big Arrow clearly pointed
to or were part of a destiny
unfolding in the cosmos.
Perhaps we shall see the true
Zodiacal alignment of the Zodiac
when we find the place where
via Precession we turn Direct
in our path through time.

In an earlier blog we talked
about Robert Mugabe and how
a strong Saturn exactitude would
not let him step down in the
face of popular democracy. His
resolve has strengthened and
he has not released one bit
of his grip on power. His army
General had come out and said
to the army that if you cannot
vote for Mugabe then get out
of the army. Robert Mugabe’s
Pisces sun coupled with his
powerful Saturn will allow for
great extremes in the violence.

Now that the Democratic Primaries
have come to an end it is time
to look at how my election systems
performed. It is pleasing to
note that on January 20, 2008
I stated here in this blog that
Barack Obama would be the winner
with 53% of the vote and Hilary
Clinton would be the looser
with 47% of the vote. The final
count for Hillary Clinton was
1926 and the final count for
Barack Obama was 2158. This
gave Barack 53% of the delegates
and Hilary got 47% of the delegates.
Based on this accuracy I feel
that the astrology community
should give credit to the systems
used. I also stated that it
would go the distance to the
convention and no one can argue
that this has been a long race.
I feel that if Hilary Clinton
had had her way she would have
fought to the convention but
Barack’s style caused public
opinion in his favor. Below
are the January 18, 2008 through
January 20, 2008 excerpts from
this blog.

18 -20, 2008
Ok
so this is the week to put
the Democrat winner between
Hillary Clinton and Barack
Obama on the line. Here is
how I see it. As I said last
week it will be a race to
the finish at the Denver Convention
unless one or the other drops
out. This is not a copout
Barack Obama has the best
hand and at the finish line
he will be the winner. But
as happens in poker sometimes
the best hand folds. I do
not think this will happen
to either Hillary or Barack
as they each have very good
staying power (fixed planets).
I have used two basic systems
the Democratic System (using
the strongest Gemini and Leo)
and the Capricorn (Republican)
System (using the strongest
Capricorn, Saturn, Cardinal)
then added asteroids then
added progressions to arrive
at the conclusion that Barack
will be the winner. Barack
was the winner in each and
every system. Yes in some
cases it is tight but Barack
wins. Before either candidate
can get to the Capricorn system
they must win the Democratic
system and Barack wins there.

It is time to look at the Republicans and at first glance it is disappointing at least for the Republicans. There is no real muscle except for John McCain’s Capricorn Moon and Mike Huckabee’s Progressed Libra Sun and possible (no birth time) Progressed Libra Moon. I have not included Ron Paul in this analysis but if it is between John McCain, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee then it is John McCain and one on one he can beat either Hillary or Barack. The Republicans need John McCain and both Republicans and Democrats had better hang their hopes on a strong vice-president.

Some of you may want to look back into the past of astrology to see where it came from. The following link will take you to an article written by the famous astrologer, Robert Hand http://www.zodiacal.com/articles/hand/history.htm. This article is very inclusive and is obviously an excellent piece of academic work in that it traces what we know of the somewhat scientific history of astrology. Many astrologers will agree with Robert Hand’s findings and for the most part they represent facts and reasonable judgments. But as with any history they are based on what we have found many years later. One could look at the history of time and based on the facts conclude that time was discovered at a certain date and has certain qualities but time existed before it was discovered. Astrology existed before it was discovered. It may have been found and lost many times.

The following quote “The Sumerians, who settled in Mesopotamia around 4000 BC, mark the first example of a people who worshipped the sun, moon, and Venus.” is from an history of Egyptian astrology http://touregypt.net/astro/. Again like the Robert Hand article good historical linage. This article starts at 4000 BC as a date that reflects the “first example” of astrology. I take no argument with most of their facts but common consensus has this current cycle of mans human existence on earth starting about 10,000 BC. Was their no astrology from 10,000 BC to 4,000 BC a period of 6,000 years that equals the exact amount of time from 4,000 BC to today? So everything that we think we know about astrology has happened over a period of 6, 000 years but with an equal amount of time where we have no knowledge. If the stars and planets have always been in the sky at least from 10,000 BC it seems reasonable that observations and conclusions were made. We tend to think that as each year goes forward that we have become so much superior but in reality we are the same as a person born on this earth 10,000 years ago we just have more toys to make us believe that we are more knowledgeable.

An eastern perspective, particularly a Tibetan viewpoint on the origins of astrology will give a fuller picture into the interplay of the cosmos http://www.geocities.com/buddhism2001/astrology.html. The concept of time and spirituality is much more fundamentally understood or at least accepted in the east. Tibetan astrology has always been and is today a part of the culture. The east had no Catholic church that fundamentally tried to eradicate astrology. In the west astrology for many years was occult and hidden in mystery while in the east it was always in the open.

Perhaps a Rosetta style breakthrough lies berried in the sand or under water or ice but the future is where we will uncover astrology.

Robert Mugabe is proving to be a very dangerous person. Born February 21, 1924, (no time so 12 noon used to split error to maximum 12 hours) Salisbury/Harare, Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. As I have said before (see April 5, 2008 this Blog) his Natal Sun 01Pisces41 and his Saturn 02Scorpio14 retrograde is the key to his strangulation hold on power. As the Transiting Cancer Sun June 21, 2008 hit the 1 degree mark of his Natal Sun he declared that only God could remove him from power. Regardless of the time he was born the Moon was in Virgo all day on the day that he was born so he will have a Virgo Moon and with the Saturn in Scorpio, giving a very organized deadly approach to achieving his goals. Transiting Saturn is today also in Virgo 04Virgo03 giving a very clear view both to himself and the world as to his intensions.

Robert Mugabe has Natal Venus in Aries 10Aries05 so he is happiest when engaged in combat or challenges. His Natal Jupiter 16Sagittarius58 is in strong energy transference with Natal Aquarius 16Pisces36 once more giving an inner and far reaching mental strength to what he feels is right. Natal Uranus in Pisces and Natal Sun on the Pisces/Aquarius Cusp along with Natal Mercury in Aquarius 10Aquarius14 really blur the line between his mental outlook and his emotional beliefs. The biggest problem with Robert Mugabe is that he knows and believes that he is right.

Robert Mugabe’s Natal Mercury is 10aquarius14 linking up with his Natal Pluto 10Cancer26 retrograde. This has him communicating his deepest desires with true conviction. The Pluto, Cancer and Pisces in his Natal Chart show a very emotional man while the abundance of Aquarius in his Natal chart give a mental coldness or at least detachment.

Robert Mugabe’s Progressed Chart shows that his Progressed Sun is in solid and unmovable Taurus 24Taurus43. It shows that he came to power just over 18 years ago as his Progressed Sun had completed the entrance Cusp into Taurus. Today he is only two years away from reaching the beginning of the exit Cusp from Taurus. If he is still alive it is most likely based on this one factor alone that he will hang on for the next two years plus possibly a bit more. Perhaps his most vulnerable time will be when his Progressed Saturn that is now at 27Libra07 retrograde makes the conjunction contact his Progressed Moon that based on a 12 noon birth (?) is at 11Libra58. But if he was born early in the morning then his Progressed Moon and Progressed Saturn could be close right now but if he was born late in the day that it could be two years away.
